As per the special mandate from Hon. State Secretary (Dated: 01/10/2013), the “RELIGION” and “CASTE” columns in the UID Excel are set to be optional. It
is not mandatory for the Unit Leaders to fill both the columns in the
UID Excel, and can be notified as “BLANK” or “NOT APPLICABLE” – However,
those who have filled and submitted the data can ignore this
announcement.
